It also has every MOT certificate from new to further warrant the mileage.
The beautiful Almandine red metallic exterior retains a deep shine and is in lovely condition with no heavy dents, scrapes or damage. It also displays none of the common corrosion to the arches often associated with this model.
The contrasting light grey interior is also in great order, beautifully retro and suits the car very well. It would be more common for this exterior colour to have been specified with a beige/ cream interior, making the choice of grey pleasantly unusual. The electrically operated hood is in excellent condition with no rips or tears and works well.
On the road the car performs perfectly, without a squeak or rattle to be heard. It pulls up sharp and square under braking, and the power steering makes light work. The quiet 2. 2 litre petrol engine runs beautifully through the smooth auto gearbox.
The original 16" alloy wheels are in excellent condition and shod with premium Continental tyres all round, and the higher profile tyres certainly contributing to the fantastic ride quality found on this car.
