Owned by its first owner, a Mr. Newbould from Harrogate, from 1972 until 2019 and restored for him using new panels, the bodywork remains in immaculate condition with excellent paintwork. The original interior shows just light wear despite being over fifty years old and the leather seats remain very comfortable.
There have been only four owners in total and the history file includes invoices from 1973, the original handbook and MOT certificates.
The ES has 2. 0 litre fuel injected engine and a manual gearbox with overdrive, which works on fourth gear.
Power steering fitted
Volvo 1800 ESs are heavy cars to steer and this beautiful example has electric power steering which, along with the new tyres that are fitted, transforms low speed manoeuvrability.
