Here for sale, my 1973 Volvo 1800ES, auto, in original California white (42).
I had wanted one of these, specifically an ES not the coupe for many years but the time has finally come to move it on now to a new owner. as I've had a bit of a health scare recently.
Since buying the car I’ve brought it fully up to standard, it’s totally reliable.
Engine, gearbox, differential brakes and steering are all good. The bodywork is sound, not a patchwork quilt and the interior complete with newly recovered front seats, fully working dash (the clock is a little lazy), modern classic style BT, DAB, radio. The sunroof doesn’t leak and is a great addition for a sunny day.
It’s VED and MoT exempt of course and classic insurance costs me around £125/ year.
