Description
One of the coolest, most fun, affordable modern classics you can currently buy? The Fiat Panda 4x4 in rare ‘Climbing’ specification.
This Fiat Panda is a rather charming little 4x4 with a no frills approach to transport. Large airy windows, light weight design, 1. 2 litre engine yet the ability to keep up with Land-Rovers on the rough stuff (as seen in the Fifth Gear videos of the period) makes the Panda 4x4 very appealing.
This particular example is in ‘Climbing spec’ which gave the Panda some extra toys such as air con (that still blows ice cold here), central remote locking, electric front windows, the whacky Guacamole green paintwork over a yellow/ grey interior. Nearly passes as green over tan right? This is believed to the only 4x4 climbing spec currently on the market.
What makes this example even more special is its provenance. She features just 42k miles from new, full service history with over 14 stamps in the book (its now run out of space), 12 months MOT with no advisories and yep, you guessed it, one lady owner from new.
In fact, this little Panda has never failed an MOT in its near 20 year old life.
Originally registered by AMC Fiat, Chelmsford it still features the original main dealer plates. During its life, the car has stayed within the Chelmsford vicinity.
2x keys
Disc brakes all round (unlike standard Pandas)
ULEZ compliant - can’t think of a better London car with its raised seating position and tiny proportions.
Original windscreen
Dealer fit ‘Supaguard’
Great blend of usability and simplicity.
The little Fiat is in fantastic, original condition and even still has the quaint Blaupunkt radio which looks untouched. Much like the rest of the interior.
The exterior in fantastic condition too. Just minor marks to report here.
Even the wheels present well in their original condition.
If you’re after a city run around or a capable country lane companion, you will have plenty of fun in the Fiat Panda 4x4.
