This very original Morgan Plus Four has covered just 15, 000 miles from new. The last owner purchased the car for his wife when just five years old back in 2001 from former Morgan specialists Libra Motive. The Morgan had then covered 11906 miles in its first five years and since 2002 it has been maintained by the last owners in house mechanic who has maintained his entire collection. The Morgan has been MOT tested every year with the exception of 2017 and in its entire life has only failed two MOT test, both for the failure of a rear stop light! The car has been completely reliable and covering just 3000 miles in 23 years, the car has been used for fine weather local trips for the last owner wife.
Now the recent owner is downsizing his collection, the Morgan has come to us in a multi part exchange deal and has arrived in lovely condition. The bodywork and paintwork are of a very high standard, as is the weather equipment and wire wheels. The paintwork has a lovely deep shine, the bodywork excellent. This car has been garaged, meticulously looked after so the car is structurally outstanding. The interior has nicely aged now 28 years old and is of a very good, original standard with walnut dashboard and Moto-Lita steering wheels.
The K series Rover 1994cc engine is exceptional as expected with less than 15000 miles, the five speed gearbox a delight to use and the Morgan handles correctly. Whilst MOT tested in May 2024, we will supply the Morgan with a full 12 months MOT, carry out a service and also clean and adjust the brakes.
