1976 Ford Escort Mk2 4 Door 1. 6 Automatic. RHD Import from South Africa. Car starts runs and drives and UK registration has been applied for.
Body - 4 door shell with good original floors, chassis rails, sills, inner wings, arches. Will need a minor repair on one front floor otherwise looks all original and very very good for its age. . Paintwork is perfectly useable with a few minor scrapes n dings, If you wanted a show winner youd need to paint it. Good bumpers and body mouldings. Very original old car
Mechanics - 1600 Crossflow and factory Auto box. Starts and runs and engine sounds fine. Gearbox goes through the gears but feels a bit lazy. Brakes are fine. Would need a service as a minimum and carb adjusted. Standard running gear. Bit of play in steering. As with any project it would need going through from front to back.
Interior - Original door cards. Seats are the original burn your buttocks vinyl, but have a few splits on the seams. Dash top has a crack. Front dash pad also has the material coming away
Wheels- Standard factory steels and hubcaps.
