This beautiful 450 Chimaera was purchased by its second owner in July 2002 from Waldonway, our local TVR dealer, and has only covered 39, 000 miles since new.
There is a comprehensive history with a stamped service book up to 2013 (when the book ran out), and invoices and MOTs going back to 2003. The most recent work was carried out at Maidstone Sports Cars in July '24 which came to over £5, 000 and included replacing the crankshaft pulley and front oil seal to cure an oil leak. The full book pack is in place beneath the dash.
We collected the TVR from a heated, carpeted garage and this reflects its condition. Inside, the yellow stitching compliments the black leather and picks up the exterior colour. The seats, which are embossed TVR, are virtually unworn as are the carpets and the boot area. The instruments have yellow backings to them. The hood, rear window and Targa top are immaculate. There is an immobiliser fitted.
There is some light stone chipping to the front of the car, but the paintwork is otherwise immaculate with a smooth, even finish and the lights and trim are unmarked. The alloy wheels are like new and overall, the Chimaera is in fantastic condition.
Being a later car, it is equipped with power steering and a couple of nice upgrades have been fitted by TVR specialists including an alloy radiator, a 4. 5 induction kit, a de-cat kit and a full set of Racing Red dampers.
A beautiful, striking, car that has been very well cared for.
