Out of about 6000 cars built just 500 were the 500 spec
The high performance 500 can be easily identified by its purple engine rocker covers, and 'Griffith' style wheels.
It was claimed the 4998cc alloy V8 produced 340BHP at 5500 rpm and 320 lbs/ ft of torque.
0 to 60 was a mere 4. 1 seconds with a top speed of 175 mph.
