Well priced handy size mini digger in good working order with two buckets and cab, it’s a Kubota, parts are for pennies and off the shelf and anyone with an adjustable spanner and a hammer can maintain it.
Starts well and runs well with no smoke, 3 cylinder D1105 diesel engine, some nominal as expected play in the pins but nothing hanging off, clean smooth un-pitted rams with no signs of any leaks, see the demo video, rubber tracks have loads of tread on them and no serious cracks or splits, piped for a pecker or other attachment with a control pedal in the cab.
Tracks, digs, blades as intended, we used this digger for an hour when it arrived tidying up the gravel in a corner of the yard, never missed a beat. It will lift itself completely off the floor with ease, good strong hydraulics. Showing 4348 hours recorded on the clock, we can’t confirm these but looking around the machine, it’s probably about right.
It’s approx. 1410kg in weight or 1. 4 tons, comes with the two buckets pictured, model year approx 2003, invoice supplied with original stamped on the machine serial number clearly printed, no issues, its UK spec machine not a grey import.
This is an old school, solid built digger, if it has a problem you fix it with a spanner and a hammer, no lap top or technician required, my border collie can service this thing, new tracks are from £140 (not yet required), service kit for engine £38 and a re-bush kit for the bucket pins £55 (currently fitted pins still serviceable) these price’s we found easily with a quick Google search, you can get anything and everything.
We would recommend a service and check over due to unknown history, paint work is a poor finish, but it’s a digger not a Porsche and it would dig just the same with good paint, lower cab door and front right sliding side windows need replacing, again you can buy these exact fit to be posted out online or use Perspex, heater blower not working but plenty of engine warmth enters cab, wiper not working, find another seller being this honest if you can, nothing hidden, nothing to hide.
Handy machine at handy money, will do a job and earn its keep today and no VAT to pay.
