Affordable 4x2 quad, simple mechanical components & no electronic wizardry to fail will do a good job for little money with very little to go wrong.
KLF 300 4x2, it has just 2451 miles on the clock (unconfirmed), its HPI clear with a printout, very good rear exhaust back box which are often rotten, the frame / chassis is all solid and tidy, still has its suppliers sticker on the front cross member, it’s just a genuine machine all round.
Starts well on elec start with pull start backup, runs well, rides very well and feels tight, tyres all stay up, lights work, it stops very well on both brakes, parking brake works, all gears select including reverse, 50mm tow ball. A fairly straight bike all round, all plastics intact, racks not bashed to bits, not road registered no logbook approximate model year 1990 / 1992.
It’s a 4x2 (two wheel drive) and has an amazingly tight turning circle, you forget how lite and nimble the 2 wheel drives are after slugging about on heavy 4x4 bikes, it won’t churn up the ground it travels over and its great fun to ride as well.
Completely electronic free, no sensors, ECU’s, micro chips or circuit boards, if it need a repair you use a spanner and hammer, no laptop or technician required.
