This really is a cracking mid-size machine, starts, runs, drives and stops well, low hours on the clock, very, very clean and tidy, super nimble and nippy little tractor, we are really impressed with it, it’s about the size of Grey Fergie but with more power and 4x4. 3 cylinder Kubota diesel engine starts readily and runs really well, it’s fairly pokey and can travel quickly. All the gears in the simple mechanical gear box select in all ranges, no sloppy, unreliable hydrostatic drive here, just simple cogs in a box, the clutch is sharp with plenty of bite. The brakes are good and the park brake holds very well. Lift arms are working quickly and smoothly and the PTO selects and stops as intended. It’s a 4 wheel drive model, simply pull the lever to engage when required, very easy to turn and manoeuvre in a tight spot.
Approx. model year 1990, this is proper solid Japanese tractor, built before accountants cut back on quality and its completely electronic free, no lap tops or technicians required to service this one, the 3 cylinder engine is fitted into many mini diggers and dumpers, parts are widely and easily available, with some simply cross refence to UK models (L245), we have an English owner’s manual on PDF which covers, operations, safety and maintenance. It’s badged as “Zen-Noh” as this is a large Japanese Co-Op that sell Kubota tractors under their own name to the home market, it’s a genuine Kubota.
It’s only showing 949 hours, unconfirmed, but looking at the pedals and footplates its done very little, still got its original seat in perfect condition, lights working, incredibly straight tinwork, immaculately clean under the bonnet, rear tyres are very recent, front tyres have age cracks but no slow or leaks, all the fluids have been checked for level and contamination and we have checked the antifreeze mix, it’s all good. Comes with the original draw bar and under seat little tool box, there are sturdy tubular brackets to accept a simple roll bar on both sides of the seat, it would be easy to make your own if required.
Just had a new battery fitted and the exhaust is now a brand new shorter and correct black one (not arrived when we did pics) plus it’s also just had 3 new glow plugs fitted, one plug was tired so we changed all 3, like we said parts are easily available and cheap.
Slightly bigger than your normal garden size compact, this is a really useful mid-size tractor in amazing condition that has clearly led a very charmed life, don’t miss it.

Local delivery within 20 miles of Carlisle is normally for free, further afield we can drop it to most of the UK for £1 per road mile, one way from Carlisle, please ask for a price.
