Hello, L'atelier des 1000 presents you today this Mercedes 450 SL cabriolet type R107 in a stylish configuration with this rare Magnetite blue colour and its Parchment interior.
This car left the production lines on 29/ 08/ 1978 and was delivered new in Germany. It was then purchased by an Englishman in 2006 who used it in particular to visit his holiday home in France.
We have the car's service book, its datacard confirming that the car is in its original configuration, and a number of documents tracing its history. The paintwork is shiny and looks good overall, although two minor paint defects will be rectified for the sale. The chrome also looks good. Various bodywork operations have been carried out, including the replacement of the side and main boot liners. The blue soft top is in very good condition, the fabric is supple and the window translucent. A black hard top is also supplied.
The upholstery is in very good condition, as are the carpets and door trim. The Zebrano woodwork has a slight overall patina . Mechanically, the car behaves well, with the gearbox showing no jolts or slippage . A basic service will be carried out for the sale, including an engine oil change , coolant and brake fluid . The running gear and suspension are pleasant to drive and the brakes do their job perfectly . The tyres have recently been replaced and provide good contact with the ground .
