Company history The first Peugeot car, a three-wheeled steam car designed by Léon Serpolley, was produced in 1889, after many different Peugeot models, in 1924 they began building the Type 172. The Type 172 R adopted the 667cc engine of the Quadrilette, but with a power output of up to 11bhp. Around 27, 000 Peugeot 172 Rs were built in just a few years. The Peugeot was also fully restored and has been well preserved ever since. The car drives, clutches and brakes well. It's time to get started and enjoy a piece of history.
