I am selling my Fiat (Autobianchi) 500 Jardinière, which I have owned for 13 years (27. 4. 2012). I am selling the car because my priorities have changed and this is an opportunity for an enthusiast to buy a model that is very rare on the market and at the same time cult and affordable. The condition of the car is good. Technically even very good. There are some blemishes on the bodywork and a few small rust spots (doors). To be able to register the car in Switzerland I had to add safety belts for the two front seats. I also had to secure the two side doors with a chain. The front boot is also secured. These modifications changed the original state but it was compulsory in Switzerland, I had no choice and honestly it increases the comfort and safety when driving. The slogan Envie de Sud that you see on the pictures is easy to remove and it won`t leave any marks. Some information about the history: On 27. 4. 2012 I bought the car in Italy from Cesare TORTORELLA in 84048 POLICA. I then imported the car to Switzerland. It passed the customs on 18. 6. 2012.
The car was fully restored by a specialist mechanic for old cars in Basel and was registered in my name as a veteran car in Switzerland until 21. September 2021. Those who know the rules know that only cars that meet the requirements of the MFK service get a veteran registration plate. In September 2021 I cleared the car through customs because I moved to France (164 rue Broussan, 30600 Vauvert). I have the certificate (Model 846 A). the customs estimated the value at 12`000 euros and I paid 660 euros VAT. I had a technical inspection in France on 5. 4. 2022 which was valid until last year. It is up to the new owner to take the necessary steps to put the car back on the road. You can make an appointment to come and see it in Vauvert. A reasonable negotiation of the sale price is of course possible.
