Description
The Morris Minor is an economy car produced by Morris Motors between 1948 and 1971. It made its debut at the Earls Court Motor Show, London, in October 1948. More than 1. 6 million were manufactured in three series: the Series MM, the Series II, and the 1000 series.
Registered on the 25th June 1971 this Morris Minor has been subject to a major no expense spared restoration.
During the restoration the Morris received a reconditioned engine, which runs like a sewing machine, it drives faultlessly and performs fantastically. The drive train is lovely and quiet, the gear change is smooth and the clutch as you would expect. It received a new fuel tank and upgraded front discs and pads as well as a servo assisted system.
The body work is in perfect order, new woodwork has been fitted and there is no corrosion to the underside what so ever - the underside is as clean as the top. It is not covered in thick underseal and has recently received a full coat of Lanoguard. The paint work is finished to a high standard and although not concours it is very nice. The interior is no exception and is immaculate with new seat covers, head lining and carpets.
It is fitted with a new 12V battery, as well as new tyres all round.
Current V5 is present as well as some history. TAX and MOT exempt although it does currently have a 12 month MOT.
