This Defender is one of 150 Works V8 70th models launched in January 2018 as a low-volume, high performance birthday special to mark Land Rover's 70th Anniversary. It has a naturally aspirated 5. 0-litre V8 which delivers 405 Ps and 515 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0-60 mph is accomplished in just 5. 6 seconds and it has a (electronically limited) top speed of 106 mph. The V8 powertrain is complimented by an advanced ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox with sport mode, completing each gear change in 200 milliseconds. The dual-speed transfer box with automatic torque biasing centre differential, shifts up to 90% of torque to the front or rear axle as required. A reconfigured suspension features improved springs and dampers. The all-new 18 inch diamond-turned Sawtooth alloy wheels, all terrain tyres and upgraded brakes provide additional driving confidence. The luxurious interior of the 70th Edition features Recaro sport-seats which, along with much of the other interior surfaces, are trimmed in Windsor leather.
This particular 90 Works V8 is finished in Roma Red with an Ivory & Ebony duotone interior. It has covered just 174 miles since its conversion to a Works V8. Supplied with 12 months warranty and 12 months breakdown cover.
