For sale is my more desirable and rare P reg Volvo 850 T5 Manual.
It's dark blue with a long MOT until April 26! It's had a lot of spend on it over the years, most recently was the clutch. Just replaced the tailgate cover clips and fitted the modification plates so no longer an issue. Next on my list was the left rear bumper bracket, which again is a common issue. Ended up doing both.
Bodywork in great condition for the year, obviously has scratches and a couple of dents. Front bonnet is currently a different colour as was replaced with the hinges due to old one flicking up on previous owner.
Drives smoothly and interior looks OK for the year. Drivers seat has a bit of wear as does the steering wheel. The dash was replaced or repaired in the past as had the common issue of the speedo playing up. The dash top has slightly moved since that replacement. (See pic)
Was going to keep it but have too many projects.
Only things to do that would be ideal to rectify:
Catalytic convertor was stolen in the past so has an alternative option fitted, would be ideal to replace with an original unit. Doesn't run any differently just as an enthusiast, I would have replaced it, if I could locate one.
Tailpipe seems to be missing. But relatively new Walker middle box has been fitted.
Bonnet needs to be painted the correct colour as not colour coded as mentioned above.
Passenger front door card is slightly damaged (see pic).
Drivers door check strap needs replacing.
Overall a great modern day classic which is in great condition mechanically. Bodywork is good but not immaculate. If you want a car that you can actually drive without worrying about it, this is the one for you!
