We originally sold this lovely example in 2019. Sadly he passed away and we have recently purchased it back.
The Morris was subject to a major restoration in 2010 and it is still superb to this day. There is absolutely no issues with the underside. The paintwork is of an excellent standard and has a lovely finish. All panel gaps are very good. Being a fairly early car it is fitted with clap hand wipers, gold speedo, banjo steering wheel etc. it was fitted with a reconditioned 1098cc engine in 2013 and we fitted a reconditioned gearbox in 2019 prior to selling it. The mileage displayed at the time was 53000 although we fitted a replacement speedo head as it was faulty. The mileage on this unit was 42150. The original unit is still with the car. It has only covered 700 miles since 2019.
We sold it in 2019 at the same price we are advertising it for today. Prior to delivery the gentleman spent in excess of a further £2000 carrying out some upgrades including front and rear inertia seat belts, alternator conversion, brake servo conversion, oil and water temperature gauges, 2 speed wiper conversion, hazard lights and more.
The history file since we last owned the car shows very little mileage but it has been maintained regularly and always garaged
When we recently collected the Morris it had been in his garage for 18 months or so since his passing and we have carried out some recommissioning work including new battery, 4 new tyres and new front wheel cylinders. We presented it for a mot test and it passed with no advisories, so it has current test until April 2026
This Lovely Morris is now ready for its next chapter. It starts willingly every time and drives very well, with no transmission whines. If you are looking for a Morris Minor that is up there with the best ones, it would be worth viewing. There is nothing that we can see will need doing on it in the near future
