SUMMARY
Finished in gorgeous Quartz Blue with soft Black Leather interior, and having covered just 17, 775 miles this is about as near to a nrew W220 S-Class as you'll realistically get. Ordered directly from a Mercedes dealership in Hamburg to full UK spec, and registered in the UK shortly afterwards, it was bought by a multi millionaire who needed to get rid of some money quickly (probably for tax reasons) and then having bought it, he hardly used it during his 20+ year ownership. I believe it subsequently spent a lot of time in the South of France which has clearly helped preserve the vehicle.
This S320 features quite an impressive specification that includes a refrigerator mounted in behind the centre armrest of the rear seats and that will comfortably accommodate a coupe of bottles of Moet et Chandon (or several cans of Stella Artois) to chill as you cruise to your destination, or for on your journey if you have a Chauffeur (please note chauffeur not included.) Everything it has works as it should inducing the Air-conditioning which is ice cold.
When bought this car, I drove it 225 miles home from London, and I can report it was just incredible; smooth, silent and swift and an absolute joy to drive and it certainly lives up to the S-Class tradition of being the best car in the world at the time. As part of my preparation process I've sorted out a few minor issues, and have just had the car serviced, which also included new rear discs and pads, as well as a transmission oil and filter change, so its driving like a dream and really does look the part, infact it still looks like the £50K+ car it once was; those (factory optional) 18" wheel really do suit the lines of the W220.
So, if you want an awful lot of nearly new S-Class for essentially the price a small used hatchback, then you wont go too far wrong with this gem. Also as this car has the M112 V6 petrol engine, the car is also ULEZ & CAZ compliant. At the moment the VRM (registration number) or Y435 HDN is showing as non compliant but this is simply down to information missed when the car was initially registered in the UK back in 2000, at a time when emissions information wasn't as important as it is now. If need be, I can guide the new owner in getting this corrected as its a very simple process.
THE MTSV DIFFERENCE
