Description

The car was driven quite a few times to a local mechanic to have various parts replaced and when it was resprayed but it hasn't been driven for a couple of years now. I've got receipts for all the work carried out on the car. All parts bought from DMG or SNG Barratt. All panels are original and in great condition. The body and underside of the car is very solid thanks to the South African climate. The chrome work is in good condition as can be seen from the photos. The car has been NOVA declared... I have all the paperwork from HM Revenue & Customs confirming that the VAT and all or any duties have been paid. I also have the paperwork from South Africa confirming that the export of the vehicle complied with the laws of South Africa.

Interior leather shows it's age. I removed the veneer wood just above the dashboard and around the inside of the front doors windows to refurbish them. I have all the wood and the holding screws etc. I removed the leather seats and have kept them indoors to help preserve the leather. I have all the seats. I have the interior carpets as well. There are two petrol tanks in the boot.... the pump works fine on one of the tanks but I think the pump has gone on the other one. New rubbers have been fitted around the doors, windscreen and rear window.

I managed to source a Mark 10 Service Manual a few years ago, so this is also included. This is a very detailed manual covering everything you can imagine about the Mark 10's. See the photos for a few examples taken from the over 400 paged manual. I applied and got the Jaguar Heritage Trust production record trace certificate for the car. Chassis, body and engine numbers all match. The exterior paint colour matches the original paint colour on the certificate. The original distributor was Henleys, London. It was manufactured on 17th October 1963. I imported it from South Africa in 2018, where I was told it had spent it's life. I had an age related registration number allocated to it by DVLA.
