This superb 1963 Norton 750 Atlas is a Matching Number motorbike. As with all Nortons produced between 1946 and 1974, the engine and chassis numbers are identical: * Engine number: 20 - 105 569 / P * Chassis number: 20 - 105 569 For the year 1963, the numbers start at 105 000 and end at 107 999.
This was one of the very first Atlas models produced! Initially intended for the American market, it did not appear on the European market until 1964. Completely restored and ready to take to the road - No costs involved.
The bike has benefited from a number of improvements, including the fitting of a pair of aluminium rims and a Norton Commando double-cam drum front brake, which is very useful for riding with complete peace of mind in modern traffic. The bike has a valid French registration certificate and will be sold with a CT valid for less than six months.
