Hello and welcome to the sale of this absolutely stunning Morgan Plus 4.
With just one lady owner registered from new and less than 7k miles on the clock, it's condition suggests it is more like brand new than 14 years old! This car has been cherished yet virtually unused on the road, initially due to illness and then sadly bereavement of the registered lady keeper's husband.
Purchased brand new in 2011 from Williams Morgan, it was registered directly on to OO03 JDJ, which is of course a private plate. The plate remains with the car although I am happy to arrange for it to be removed and the car would revert to an 11 plate, unless of course you have your own number and I am happy to help administer accordingly.
The car is finished in the very attractive and traditional colour scheme of piano black with saddle leather, with many expensive and carefully considered options to enhance ownership.

These options totalled over £8500 plus VAT over 14 years ago! The original bill of sale is present with the car, which cost £41, 218 on the road. Considering a new Plus Four is probably nearly double that today, and residual values of these vehicles historically very strong, it certainly could not be classed as a bad investment!
The bodywork on the car can only be described as virtually unmarked, with the black coachwork retaining a very deep and polished shine. The 5x gorgeous stainless steel wire wheels are also immaculate and are shod with Yokohama tyres. All the brightwork, lighting, seals, glass and trims etc are all also in excellent order.
The 'deluxe' hood is in perfect condition, as are the removable door tops, which can be stowed upon the luggage rack. Having owned a couple of Morgans with the 'traditional' roof, I can confirm the deluxe one is a god send, so much faster to use and more substantial against the elements.
The extremely classy and tasteful interior is comfortable and spacious enough for two, even on longer touring journeys, as the very active Morgan owners club members will happily tell you! All the leather and carpets are again in superb condition with virtually no wear. All the switchgear and dials are perfect upon the beautiful walnut dashboard. There is a CD/ radio, a 12v powerpoint, heated front screen, and an excellent heater. The stunning Moto-Lita steering wheel sits perfectly in your hands and it even has an adjustable steering column.
Under the bonnet and in the virtually as new engine bay, the ever trusty and versatile 2. 0 Ford Duratec engine is, as you can imagine with less than 7k miles on the clock, barely run in. It starts perfectly, runs beautifully and willingly provides ample power throughout the rev range, whilst returning decent economy through the slick and precise 5 speed manual gearbox. The steering, suspension and brakes all feel positive and responsive. On the open road there is a fruity but entirely inoffensive exhaust note for you to enjoy on those spirited country drives but it will not ruin those motorway cruises either.
To sum up, this is a virtually unused, low mileage, cherished, well presented and extremely attractive one lady owner example of the iconic and quintessential British sports car that is a Morgan, I think it presents excellent value when compared to a new one and I am sure the new owner will be very pleased.
