We purchased this vehicle directly from its original owner a 72 year old gentleman and lifelong mechanic who bought the car brand new 46 and a half years ago. He has meticulously maintained it throughout its life, storing it carefully and servicing it with the level of care only a dedicated tradesman could offer. The result is a time warp example with a level of provenance that is almost impossible to find today.
The Cortina L runs and drives beautifully. Everything from the way the doors close to how the engine ticks over reflects just how well this car has been looked after. It’s a credit to its only owner and stands as a piece of genuine motoring history.
Yes this car has Wolf race Alloys fitted, a Vinyl roof and sun roof, it also has the Ford Ghia wood trim (genuine ford kit) fitted on the tops of the doors and dashboard and the spot light grill fitted (Ford modification) but this car has been driven and used through the late 70's/ 80's and to today.
