THE COMPACT and ever so cute Wolseley 1500 - along with its sister model the Riley One Point Five - was designed as a replacement for the iconic Morris Minor. But the dear old Moggy marched on until the early 70s with both Wolseley and Riley being retired in 1965. All the same, they were extremely popular family saloons in their day and a punchy little car with that 1500cc engine.
Quite a luxury compact model for its day, it remains ever popular in this era. This model in burgundy with light grey interior is a solid old girl and a super driver showing strong oil pressure. A pretty example, she is a highly usable sort of classic. A driver's car you might say. New tyres, new wheel cylinders and brakes that stop the car as they should. All in all, an excellent classic for under the 5k mark.
