I have owned my Austin 16 for quite a few years and now I feel it is time for a change . The car is in fabulous condition with a rust free body and very deep glossy shining black paint paint . All the chrome is good and it has good tyres all round .
The interior is mostly original with good clean leather seats , tidy carpet and door cards . The roof is also in very good condition but with a small amount of damage where the sun roof slides under the main roof but nothing much , just being as honest as I can
The engine has been overhauled , the gearbox works perfectly and the clutch , brakes , suspension all work just as they should . All the electrics work perfectly .
Whats the car worth ? I really dont know but it has had many many many thousands spent on it and I believe it to be now quite rare in this condition and is probably one of the best Austin 16s in the country I know I will not get back anything like what has been spent on it so would prefer to swap it than sell it for something older from the thirties or a classic car from 1955 to 1975 and am quite flexible with cash either way but I am of course open to cash offers . The car is a drive away award winning car
Forgot to mention that the underneath is rock sold with no welding done or neededFully restored , bodily and mechanically
