Our Volvo S70 was delivered in Switzerland to Mr. Denis-Edward Hill in St. Cergue. Mr. Hill, born on 18. 07. 1934, drove the Volvo until his death and kept it regularly serviced and maintained. A fully stamped service book documents the state of care and the mileage of 153, 730 km. Mr. Hill ordered the Volvo with the T5 engine, a 5‑cylinder engine with 2. 3 litres displacement and turbocharging with 240 hp and a 4‑speed automatic transmission. In addition he ordered the S70 as Celebration special model with leather interior, plus luxury package, Prestige package, Winter package, Design Package 3 and the Audio Package. We have fully refreshed the vehicle technically and cosmetically, performed a major service, renewed all wear parts, blasted the underbody with ice and coated it with a transparent wax, repaired all scrapes and paint damage, and carried out a large detailing with a Waxoyl sealant. More than €10, 000 has been invested. The Volvo now looks as good as new and will be fit for the coming years and give its new owner a lot of pleasure. It has all owner’s manuals, keys and tools. Beautiful Volvo S70s are now rare; most cars have mileage up to 800, 000 km and are worn. In contrast, good examples will rise in value and be a good investment.
