Description
I WOULD describe this 1967 Land Rover Series 2A as scruffy all round although fairly solid. Only out of MoT (not required) since March this year. Could be used a workhorse - poor old thing - or could be treated to any degree of improvement/ restoration that the next owner thinks fit. Last owner 30 years and owner before him kept it for ten. Just three former keepers prior to that.
Looks like Land Rovers used to look before someone decided to make old ones trendy! On the button, drives and stops. Even sounds quite well. Petrol engine. All, in all, looks like someone has tried to "dress" it for a film set, throwing branches and dried leaves in the back and a tow rope onto the front seats. I've left it as is. Let's call it patina!
Selling as a project so please don't go asking me stuff I probably can't answer. Bulkhead is there and nice and strong. Three tyres look almost new. But offside rear is pretty much without tread. It's a project and it's cheap.
