5 former keepers; originally sold at Alfa Romeo Broughty Ferry and remained in the area since. I bought the car off of a retired Alfa Romeo mechanic (also Alfa Club Scotland chair) who worked at the garage at the time of the vehicle’s sale and has known the car its whole life, with his name appearing on some of the historic MOT certificates. This car has been garage for nearly its whole life, this is evident in its condition. I can talk you through the previous owners of this car, how/ when they bought it and how it was stored.
The previous owner has known this car its whole life, and has ensured it is perfect. Rectifying any niggles before my ownership, installing a new master cylinder, gearbox bushings…. The car starts first time, every time, with no hesitation and always an issueless pleasure to drive.
Mechanically the car is excellent; the engine is perfect and smooth, the gearbox is tight, brakes are good, bushings and suspension are like new.
All electrics and instruments work perfectly; any fault with the car or deterioration has been rectified.
The bodywork is great; it had new wings in the 90s where the boot was re-painted at the same point, the sunroof is watertight. The underside of the car is perfect and undersealed in 2018. Interior is as new.
Car has always been registered with the Alfa club, and completed a seamless trip to and tour of Italy in 2010. The car has had zero faults and has maintained temperature perfectly well during long journeys (2 hrs) and short journeys where the engine has had to work harder.
Loads of history and documentation with the car; original logbook, vehicle history enquiries, historic MOT certificates, invoices totalling thousands, spare parts lists from previous owners and historic vehicle registration documents.
