Normandy Classics presents a Peugeot 205 GTI, a genuine late‑80s phenomenon. Born from Peugeot’s desire to dethrone the Golf, it was a huge success with sporting programmes that helped develop the image of this little dynamo and to save Peugeot. The 205 GTI was first offered in a 105hp version in 1984 and would evolve in 1987 with a more muscular version using the 1. 9L engine, finishing in 1993/ 1994 in a catalysed version.
This is one of the latest versions we offer today in a red bodywork that is emblematic of GTIs. Our model is in its original configuration, presenting a number of options including power-assisted steering, electric windows, and front fog lights. This car has covered 241, 700 KM and is in very good condition overall—bodywork, mechanicals and interior.
