With more than eight million units sold, the Renault 4 first introduced in 1961 is the most successful French car. Today the model name is revived and it drives as an electric car on our streets.
Here offered is this early Renault R4 with a trapezium grille. A true 1960s classic!
For this specimen there is an appraisal from 2020. It determined a condition grade of 2 minus and a market value of €11, 500. The Renault is currently registered with an H plate. The MOT (HU) is valid until April 2026.
The car has a lovely interior. This has been renewed by the owner. The exterior is painted in a friendly, light colour. There are nice classic details such as the rear windows that can be opened, which late examples no longer have.
Early examples are rare today. A genuine collector’s item.
