The Appeal
We've long been big fans of the Continental GT and its convertible GTC sibling. The early cars in particular were a technological tour de force, deriving immense performance from a 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12, combined with svelte styling and a raft of luxury features. With a power-operated roof and a 6-speed automatic transmission, it was designed to cover continents in comfort while delivering a rewarding turn of speed. The Continental was an old-school grand tourer for the 21st century; a mightily impressive car that still feels every bit as special today.
This 2007 example has been in the current owner's hands since 2019 and has been used exclusively as a summer leisure vehicle, a role well suited to the GTC's character. Its early life is of particular interest: the first three services were carried out by Bentley Motor Cars' Press & Special Car Support department at Crewe, with subsequent maintenance entrusted to marque specialists including Jack Barclay Bentley in London, Bentley München, and Bentley Newcastle.
The vendor describes the vehicle as being in very good overall condition and reports that it has been kept as a non-smoking car throughout. With fresh tyres, new batteries, and an advisory-free MOT valid until April 2027, this Continental GTC presents an opportunity to acquire a well-documented, carefully used example of Bentley's superlative grand tourer.image.png1.91 MB
