This is simply a superb example of a TVR 4. 0 V8 Chimaera and is the rarer HC reiteration making it 275bhp as opposed to the standard 240 bhp. The car has covered 52250 miles and was last serviced at a TVR specialist when it was MOT’d less than 200 miles ago. The MOT showed no advisories. The mileage and history is supported by an A4 folder full of receipts for servicing and any work carried out, as well as the standard TVR service book which is stamped. I purchased the car from a prestige car dealer in Sheffield who specialises in Ferraris and Porsche etc so it has good provenance. The body work is exceptional clean and tidy with no dents, scuffs or crazing to the paintwork. Internally the leather is superb with little signs of wear, the dash has no cracks and the carpet is still plush. The wheels are all shod with great tyres with plenty of tread depth and the alloys have no kerbing and present really well. Mechanically the car drives really well and everything works as it should.
It comes with 2 keys 2 remotes that also open the boot and set the Cobra alarm. It also has a Pure DAB stereo.
I’ve decided to sell the car as I come to realise that I now need an auto with power steering in my later years!I always wanted a TVR Chimaera and it was on my bucket list to own one. I spent 18 months trying to source a good one and this one ticked all my boxes being the HC engine and the condition of bodywork, chassis and interior, which were all excellent. I was also attracted by the car’s comprehensive history which proved to me it had been well looked after in the past. I’m only considering selling her as I now need an auto with power steering.
