I am selling my very special TVR Chimaera - believed to be 1 of 1, professionally upgraded to a 5. 2-litre V8 by V8 Developments (Spalding) early in its life. The conversion was fully documented, correctly registered on the V5, and badged as a 5. 2.
- 5. 2L V8 with recent camshaft replacement and major refresh by V8 Developments (May 2024)
- Body-off chassis refresh approx. 10 years ago, fully repainted and wax-oiled
- Upgraded Wilwood brakes
- Unmarked black alloys with Michelin PS4s all round
- Full stainless system, decatted, ACT Y-piece (also have the original), heat-shield wrapped, plus Powerflow twin centre "Cherry Bomb" mufflers - sounds incredible
- Upgraded large aluminium radiator with twin fans
- Adjustable Nitron suspension all round
- Clifford remote alarm/ immobiliser with central locking and proximity sensor
- Paintwork is gleaming and ceramic coated. There are a few stone chips on the bonnet, mainly from long European road trips
- Grey leather interior in superb condition throughout including the seats.
- Roof is immaculate
- Drives perfectly - precise gear changes, rapid acceleration, and excellent handling, sounds incredible
- Starts first time, runs cool, and has been 100% reliable

Never driven in the rain, always garaged, and I use it regularly when it is dry.
This is an exceptionally quick, well-sorted TVR that wants for nothing, looks and sound incredible. I will take some more photos if / when it stops raining!
The red paint is gleaming all over and like silk to touch. Some of the pictures make it look like there are different shades of red but rest assured it looks the same colour all over.
No work needed beyond the usual fettling and preening.
