The car was built intending to output the highest horse power ever delivered by a Vantage at the time, 437 BHP, which exceeded subsequent X Packs. Featured in the September 1984 Road & Track magazine driven by Phil Hill at 175 MPH, the 3rd fastest road car in the world at the time. A 1984 copy still exists in the cars history file. In 2015 a certain British industrialists passion ran high enough to invest a similar amount to the cost of a modern bungalow, with a view to bring the car to Pebble Beach standards completed in 2018. The car gained some high profile awards, including the AM Concours that year. On close examination, at ground and ramp level, having inspected every crevice accessible, this car presents to an exceptionally high standard today, covered just over 2k miles since completion.
