Here’s a beautiful and genuinely rare classic – a 1971 BSA A70 Lightning, restored roughly 10 years ago and UK-registered with V5 in hand. Only around 202 of these were ever built, originally for the U. S. market, so finding one here in the UK especially in this condition is a real treat.
The A70 takes the well-loved A65 and gives it a bit more muscle with a 750cc twin that’s smooth, torquey, and full of that unmistakable BSA character. This bike has just been through an extensive restoration with many new old stock parts, done to a high standard while keeping things true to the original style.
