Description
2008 Jaguar XK8 finished in the stunning colour combination of metallic dark red over caramel hide and walnut inserts. Last enthusiast owner since 2015 with only 64, 000 miles backed up with a great service history from new.
Designed by renowned British designer Ian Callum the second-generation Jaguar XK, known internally as the X150, debuted at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show to rapturous applause.
Designed to evoke memories of the legendary E Type with its long flowing bonnet, oval grille and raised rear haunches, the X150 was an instant hit with both the public and press alike, with evo magazine commenting “First impressions are of a car with real substance, a feeling backed up by the weight of the driver’s door and the classy interior”
Constructed from lightweight aluminium, and powered Jaguars legendary 4. 2L V8 engine, the XK is a fine sports tourer with an impressive turn of speed and a smooth composed ride, making the XK an ideal modern classic.
This XK presents beautifully, confirming that the previous owners have taken great care of this car. Naturally there are a couple of small stone chips, as you would expect, but nothing excessive. The bonnet aligns perfectly with even gaps along each side whilst the headlights are unfaded with no chips or marks to the lenses.
Looking down the flanks of the Jaguar, everything is excellent with no dings or dents to mention, and the door shut lines are equal on both sides. The windows are free from any noticeable scratches, and the trims and seals appear in fine order.
Inside, as you expect from Jaguar, the fit and finish are excellent. The electrically adjustable / heated seats hug you tightly and are extremely comfortable. The door cards are in excellent order with no apparent scuffs or damage to be seen.
Again, the dashboard is in very good order, with no scuffs or marks and the instruments operate correctly and have no warning lights displayed when the engine is running. The steering wheel is in good order with no wear to the buttons on either side, and mounted just behind are the paddles to change gear if you desire.
In the centre of the dash the touch screen control centre works as intended with the Hifi delivering fantastic sound quality.
The carpets are clean and unmarked throughout the cabin, as is the headlining. Inside the boot is in the same condition with no issues to note.
With an excellent Service History as listed below and only three former keepers owners this car is a fine example of this desirable British grand tourer
