Just arrived with us from Japan, and now DVLA registered on a 2015 plate.
We are delighted to offer this 2015 Toyota Pixis dropside Kei class truck, hand picked by ourselves via our Japanese contacts.
In Japan the Pixis range is a 'Kei' series vehicle with an engine capacity of 660cc. Many versions of the Pixis are offered including trucks like this one, and vans. Various configurations are available including RWD, AWD, Manual, Automatic and turbo versions along with extended truck cabs. The example offered here is a rear wheel drive automatic non turbo variant with standard two seat cab. The torquey 3 cylinder engine produces 52 bhp which allows for an unstressed 55 to 60 mph crusing speed. The weight of the truck is 770 kg with a carrying capacity of 350kg.
The transmission is a normal 3 speed automatic with overdrive, not CVT. Specification includes air-con, power steering, driver airbag, electric windows, remote central locking, radio/ cd player, cupholder, power socket, rubber carpet mats and cabin bag hooks. Two keys and the unused tool roll are present.
Amazingly the mileage is just 2350 kms from new which equates to just 1460 miles. I don't know what this truck has been up to in Japan but it's clearly not done much! I wonder if it was used inside a large warehouse as there was no evidence of it having seen rain? There is barely a mark on it. When it arrived I only had to give it a wipe over not a full wash. It even still had the protective covering on the pedals. If this was in a Toyota showroom being offered as a brand new vehicle today it would be entirely believeable. This is the highest grade vehicle we have imported from Japan to date at grade 4. 5/ A. It would almost be a shame to use such an immaculate vehicle commercially. Currently this is a collector grade example that would fit in with any KEI vehicle collection.
Due to it's astonishing condition it has not needed a huge amount of preparation, though we have replaced the original perished tyres and carried out a service with new air, oil and cabin filters and engine oil change, applied clear under seal and fitted a rear fog light wired in to the existing front fog light switch. Service parts are easily obtainable from UK Toyota main dealers with most items arriving within one week.
