Classic Car Design presents this spectacular Lamborghini Gallardo LP 520 in this vivid colour: the “Arancio Borealis” which suits it so well. The design stems from a collaboration between the house styling centre and Ital Design. The result is a pure, assertive line that nods to its illustrious predecessor the Countach. The most produced model of its era, this 520 version stands out with its V10 delivering superior power and an even more expressive sound.
On the outside, the glossy orange paint, slightly pearlescent, is enhanced by black and tricolour stickers, and the wheels painted in gloss black in pristine condition. No scratches mar the sharp design of the car. Note the carbon rear bonnet whose glass reveals the superb V10. It is topped by a fixed rear wing that incorporates a reversing camera.
Inside, the upholstery contrasts with the exterior. The subtler black is in place, orange stitching adds the perfect small splash of colour. The whole cabin is in very good condition with very little signs of wear; it does not feel its age. One quickly forgets the gear from the parent brand Audi. Bare essentials; we’re here to focus on the drive and the pièce d’orfèvrerie mounted on the back!
Mechanically, the V10 is the master piece! It is perfectly supported by the robotic E-gear transmission. Each gear change is a pleasure in itself—fast and sonorous, it feels like being in an F1 car! On the running gear side, performance matches the power delivered. The brakes and tyres are essentially as-new. An important and practical option, the “lift” is part of the equipment.
Originating from Germany, this example joined France over 10 years ago and has been maintained within the brand network or by specialists.
