Austin Healey 3000 MK 3 BJ8 phase 2. Built between 16th-17th September 1965 and dispatched to Hartwells of Oxford on the 23rd September 1965.
This is an original Healey blue UK home market car which was sold by ourselves to the current owner. During ownership the following work has been carried out:
Full engine rebuild by ourselves
Dennis Welsh aluminium fast road cylinder head fitted with roller rockers
Gearbox rebuild
Triple HD8 carburettors rebuild by Burlen
123 Distributor fitted
Rear axle rebuild and fitted with high ratio diff
New shock absorbers
High capacity radiator fitted with Revotec electric cooling fan
New dynamo
Wiper motor rebuilt
LED lighting conversion
GUD 326D is a fantastic example of a reliable Big Healey having completed numerous European road trips including Classic Le Mans and a tour driving down the famous Stelvio pass.
Finished now in the classic duotone colour scheme of Healey ice blue over ivory white with blue leather trim and blue weather equipment. Fitted with 72 spoke chrome wire wheels, wood rim steering wheel and spot lights.
