The BSA Rocket Gold Star was built between 1962 and 1964 with around 1, 800 produced in total
It was a combination of the Gold Star and the 650cc A10 engine with higher compression
The model became the ultimate "café racer" in the 1960s
This example was originally exported to the US West Coast importer, Hap Alzina, in September 1962
Bought back to the UK in 2003 and restored
Correct numbers and presented in good overall condition
Forming part of a large private collection
Current owner for last 11 years
Small history file included containing a BSA Gold Star Owners Club dating certificate
Not used for some time so will require some recommissioning before use
UK-registered on a current V5C
