For sale is an Amilcar CGSs 2-Seater Sports from 1927. The CGSs model represents the sportier and lower-slung version of the Amilcar CGS.
In the vehicle offered here, the early years of the history are not fully documented; the first available records date back to the 1940s. The current owner purchased the Amilcar in 2005 in Denmark, where the vehicle has been based since the 1940s.
After arrival in the Netherlands, the vehicle was fully restored and successfully presented for Dutch registration in 2009. The restoration was comprehensively documented; corresponding evidence is available. Since completion the vehicle has taken part in numerous events and has been used for various outings.
The four-cylinder engine with 1, 074 cc was completely overhauled in 2015 and has covered around 3, 600 kilometres since. The Amilcar is registered in the Netherlands and listed in the Amilcar/ Salmson Club.
