Description
Fresh in from Japan we have this genuine 1987 Suzuki RG500 Walter |Wolf. This barn find example has only covered 11, 038 km or around 6, 898 miles. The mid fairing panels are missing on this otherwise complete example and the engine turns over but alas no spark though easily rectified. The petrol tank is corrosion free internally. I have detailed the condition in the attached video and pictures but if you need any clarification on the condition please do not hesitate to contact me or come and view the bike in person. This motorcycle is sold, "As is", for spares or repair with no warranty implied or given and is supplied unregistered with paperwork to register. All you will need is an Mot and if required we will handle the registration process on you behalf for no extra fees other than DVLA's own. We are having a end of season clearance of projects that we are sadly not going to have time to restore/ rebuild so a great opportunity to grab an Iconic Two Stroke legend.
The Suzuki RG500 Walter Wolf was a rare, limited-edition race-replica motorcycle produced in 1987–1988. Based on Suzuki’s GP-winning RG500, it featured a 498cc two-stroke square-four engine producing 95 hp, a steel double-cradle frame, and distinctive Walter Wolf Racing livery. It remains one of the most collectible two-stroke superbikes of the 1980s
The RG500 Gamma was Suzuki’s road-going version of its Grand Prix race bike, which had won multiple 500cc World Championships in the late 1970s and early 1980s (Barry Sheene in 1976–77, Marco Lucchinelli in 1981, Franco Uncini in 1982).
Walter Wolf Edition: Introduced in 1987, this special edition honored Canadian businessman and racing team owner Walter Wolf. It was essentially a road-legal copy of the factory racer, distinguished by its dark blue, red, and gold livery and limited production numbers.
The Walter Wolf RG500 is prized today for its rarity, racing pedigree, and striking aesthetics. It bridged the gap between GP technology and road use, making it a cult classic among collectors.

With imported vehicles we are not always able to confirm this by contacting previous owners therefore we are unable to completely verify the mileage recorded on the odometer and it must be considered incorrect in these cases.
