Description
I’m selling my stunning 1959 BSA Goldstar 500cc.
The bike is a 350cc Clubman’s with a 500cc Goldstar engine fitted. I have a Certificate from the BSA Owners Club which proves the bikes authenticity.
This bike was fully restored approximately 4 years ago and not used. It’s been started regularly and kept in a heated garage. A lot of money has been spent to get it where it is now. It’s had a new alloy tank made, which can only be described as stunning, new tank badges and fuel filler cap.
New stainless steel wheels with new tyres and tubes etc.
Pearson new crankshaft and conrod.
New high compression piston. Rebored and honed cylinder.
New camshaft. All new bushes and bearings internally.
Rebuilt gearbox with scramble ratio.
New belt drive kit fitted.
Rebuilt magneto.
New stainless steel front and rear mudguards.
New seat and cover.
I’m sure there will be so much more that I’ve missed.
I removed the kickstart as I’ve never been able to start it that way, it will of course go with the bike. I always use the roller starter or bump start. Always starts very easily, runs lovely and sounds great.
