1978 Ford Escort MK2 1. 3 Ghia. First Registered by The Godfrey Motor co Ltd in Cardiff. The first lady owner kept this car until 2004. It had a further 3 owners up until 2014 when the last owner got it. He has cared for it for 12 years and the car is a superb example. Its finished in Oyster Gold metallic, comes with a comprehensive history folder, detailing all owners, old MOTs, service receipts and so on. This has been very well looked after over the years. Body - The car looks fantastic. Underneath is very good with no signs of any patching or unsightly repairs. The car has had two wings, a front panel and wing rails at some point in its life and a full respray. Paintwork is lovely with only a minor bubble on osf wing edge, otherwise really nice. All the chrome trim, bumpers and rubbers are good. New Headlights and bowls were fitted during the last owners time with the car.
Mechanics - This is a very well maintained car. It starts runs and drives spot on. The last owner serviced it twice a year regardless of mileage. New parts fitted during his ownership are, radiator, electronic distributor, solenoid, water pump, coil, leads, fuel pump, battery, alternator, master cylinder, radiator pipes, brake flexis, discs, pads, wheel bearings, track rod ends, steering rack boots, poly bushes, brakes drums, shoes and cylinders, leaf springs, shocks, tank sender, voltage regulator, heater motor, cat 1 alarm fitted. This car has been MOTd every year.
Interior - All completely standard and in very good order. No rips or tears and everything works. Original jack still in the bag
Wheels - Original steels which have been fully refurbished and new tyres fitted at the time of the refurb.
