We are pleased to be able to offer this lovely unique example of a 1980's classic Land Rover 90. Originally a hard top and subsequently has had side windows added and a pair of rear bench seats, also a mesh dog guard.
A few years ago, this Land Rover 90's chassis succumbed to inevitable corrosion on its chassis. Consequently it underwent a full rebuild onto a new Galvanised chassis. In this process, a 200 Tdi engine Discovery 1 became a donor vehicle for the engine upgrade and also axle upgrade. Now benefitting from the iconic 200 2. 5ltr Tdi engine and front and rear disc brakes.
The body remained untouched so to keep its original patina. This has recently had some sympathetic paint work carried out and its bonnet clear lacquered to preserve its original sun faded patina.
Some recent upgrades include a full set of refurbished Rostyle steel wheels, painted in original Chawton white. Galvanised rear spare wheel carrier, Galvanised bumper and driving light A-bar with a lovely set of iconic Cibie LED driving lamps.
A lovely example of an iconic Land Rover, now hitting 40 years old and becoming TAX exempt.
