With only 500 ever produced, these are among the rarest British light commercials in existence.
History & Provenance
This particular example is one of the last ever made in 1957. It began its life as an export model to Chile, where the dry climate likely contributed to its remarkable survival. Since being repatriated to the UK, it has undergone a full restoration and presents as a stunning, turn-key classic ready for the show circuit or promotional use.
Mechanical Upgrades & Performance
Unlike a standard A35 which can feel "flat as a pancake" in modern traffic, this pickup has been treated to several tasteful, high-quality mechanical upgrades.
Engine & Gearbox: Upgraded to a MG Midget engine and 4-speed gearbox, providing significantly more punch and smoother shifting.

Finished in a iris blue , the bodywork is in excellent structural condition with no visible rust or rot. We would rate the paintwork a solid 7 out of 10—it’s a beautiful, usable finish that looks fantastic as is, but also offers a "blank canvas" for a new owner to add period-correct signwriting or pinstriping.
Wheels: Sits perfectly on a set of brand-new, wide steel wheels with fresh tires, giving it a purposeful and modern stance while retaining its classic charm.
