DESCRIPTION
Originally supplied by Lotus Main dealers Storm of Leicester, the car was factory ordered by the first owner, a Dr Lawton, on the 16th August 2004 and duly delivered on the 1st March 2005. The original order form and sales invoice are present in the history file confirming the factory specification of Metallic storm titanium over red leather inserts, back carpets, red soft top and sill protection film, with the final invoice price being £27265.
The car remained in Dr Lawton’s care until 2010 when it was part exchanged for a new Elise at Stratstones of Leicester (who had taken over the Lotus Franchise from Storm) and was duly sold to its last owner in August of that year.
Considered by many as the sweet spot of the series 2 cars for fast road use, the Elise 111S was added to the Elise range to add an extra level of performance over the standard car. The Rover K series engine benefited from a raft of upgrades which increased power from the standard cars 118bhp to 158bhp, resulting in a seriously rapid sports car with the 0-60 dash being completed in just 5. 1 seconds and a top speed of 131 mph. This particular car is also fitted with a superb sounding Larini sports exhaust giving just the right tone without being overly loud and a body coloured detachable hard top.
The paintwork is in fine order with a deep gloss finish and without any scratches whilst the fibreglass is free from crazing, osmosis or star cracks. The dark red soft top fits snuggly and operates perfectly and the interior is in equally fine order with blemish free dashtop, an unworn steering wheel and leather seats that remain stain and mark free. Likewise the multi spoke alloy wheels are in very good condition.

VECHILE PREPARATION:
The car has been thoroughly inspected by our Lotus Tech Bradley who has carried out major ‘D’ Service including cambelt / vvc belt, spark plugs, oil filter, air filter, brake fluid, drive belt cam cover gasket and a new set powerflex gearshift bushes . A brand-new set of Toyo TR1’s have also been fitted as the originals had started to crack due to age.
