Description
Passionate about Lotus Elise, owning the entire S1 range, I am putting up for sale this very beautiful S1 111S (VVC engine 145bhp, short gearbox).
Rare and high-performance model (around 1400 units produced worldwide). I imported it from England while it had a full history (since its purchase invoice) and second-hand.
It is azure blue / black leather interior, original hardtop still mounted on the car! (Alone it’s worth around £2, 000 today) It has very low mileage of around 26, 000 km (16, 700 miles)… i. e. about 1, 000 km/ year.
Since purchase, it has benefited from careful, up-to-date maintenance (recent belt service and fitment of a PRRT kit), a full stainless exhaust, four Yokohama AD08R tyres (a very good setup for this car), a 52mm aluminium throttle body, and a new intake boot… in short it’s a car that spent more time on my ramp than on the road, as it’s also my pleasure to pamper my toys.
The anti-roll bar has been rebuilt in black epoxy and the standard ball joints that link the bar to the wishbones have been replaced with a stainless steel device and dust-sealed joints (the wishbones were already treated in black epoxy).
It has reinforced toe links (a safety feature when fitting tyres that grip much more than original, and for any potential track day, which it never had in my eyes as it’s too collectible).
Aluminium radiator (known weak point on the S1 Elise) White indicator reminders? It’s more in keeping with the front end specific to the 111S, which features the bubble lights, the long-range grille elements with a pattern reminiscent of old Ferraris, and amber indicators.
Steering wheel centre in Alcantara.
Circuit-cut from the dash (invisible but easily accessible; neatly installed by me without modifying the chassis).
Nitron NTR shocks (coilovers, single-way adjustable) with springs rated at 350/ 450 lb (originals are too stiff for road use).
Front discs on alloy hats, with Pagid RS42 pads (unlike the original setup, braking, even on the road, offers great feel and impressive power in all conditions!)
Recent bleed.
The paint is 100% original and presents a very nice finish. The interior presentation and the chassis show no scratches in the cabin.
A car for the discerning enthusiast. A collector in this spec and condition! For sale only to finance a circuit car project. Do not hesitate to contact me to discuss if your approach is serious (but allow a bit of time, I can be chatty once you get me started on the subject ;)).
