A Rare Opportunity to Acquire an Exceptionally Original, Unmolested & Very Desirable 1997 Defender 90 Short Wheel Base.
USA EXPORTABLE, original chassis and matching numbers. This is a very rare find.
Supplied new by Roger Young, the previous owner used it on his Vineyard, so the vehicle has had a very easy life. Hence the good straight condition the vehicle is in. Not your typical farm pickup that has had a hard life.
Comes complete with spare keys, original service booklet and invoices.
It has a warranted mileage of 92, 000 miles. Previous mots to date which shows the very small increase in mileage every year.
Unique in such original condition and we think this is one of the best original un-restored 1997 examples available.

To find an unmolested example has become very hard, but to find one that has only covered ninety two thousand miles, retains all of its original panels, its original chassis, engine, gearbox, interior.
The bulkhead is exceptionally solid and original, in fact as good as we have ever seen including both original footwells. The vehicle has been fitted with a galvanised rear crossmember. Then painted black to still look authentic to the vehicle.
The underside has been steam cleaned and the original chassis is in excellent condition. No welding is required anywhere on this vehicle and it is now ready to go.
The dash is unmarked with no cracks or sun damage there are no additional holes anywhere.
The load area is clean and shows the type of life the vehicle has had.
One of the best original engine bays we have seen on a 300 TDI Defender 90. This vehicle is 100% correct for export.
