Description
1967 Morris Minor Traveller 1098cc, 91, 000mls, Superb Condition Inside & Out.
Just two owners from new: the first owner kept it from 1967 to 1984, and the second owner has had it for the past 42 years.
Since 2005, she has covered just under 4, 000 miles. Although now MOT exempt, she was MOT tested every year from 2005 until 2018, after which the most recent owner used her only sparingly.
On the road, she drives well with a quiet engine that pulls strongly. The gearbox operates smoothly with no unusual noises, and the brakes, suspension, and steering are all in good condition.
The exterior is in superb condition, with bright, glossy paintwork and good chrome, wheels, hubcaps and tyres. The wooden frame is in excellent condition.
The interior, engine bay, boot and underside are also in excellent order, reflecting the overall quality of the car, with nothing evident that would cause concern.
Currently in Northern Ireland, she comes with a standard UK V5, so can be driven anywhere in the UK with no need for reregistration or import duties.
Please keep in mind she is nearly 60 years old and not to be compared to your modern 2, 3 or even 10 year old daily driver. That said, she is in very good order and I am not aware of anything requiring attention beyond normal routine servicing.
Designed by Alec Issigonis, the Morris Minor was produced from 1948 to 1971 and became one of Britain’s most successful post war cars. Introduced at the 1948 Earls Court Motor Show, it evolved through the Series II and later the popular Minor 1000 models. Available in several body styles, including saloon, Traveller, convertible, van and pick-up, the Minor earned a reputation for reliability, practicality and charm. By the end of production, over 1. 6 million had been built, and it remains one of Britain and Ireland’s best loved classic cars.
